Teams will not secure their spot in the tournament without a non-refundable deposit. All payments will be securely facilitated via PayPal through Player's Bench.

GAMEPLAY DETAILS

Game Format
Each team will play a minimum of four (4) guaranteed games.
Period Format
12-10-10 stop-time periods
Playoff Elimination Games
Five (5) minute overtime followed by shootout

Player eligibility rules will be established by the Women's Invitational Master's committee

NOTES

The Women’s Invitational Masters National Championship (WIMNC) is a premier annual tournament to address the significant gap in structured, competitive hockey opportunities for senior women aged 40+ in Canada.

The ASHL and Canlan Sports are pleased to work with the tournament’s volunteer committee to bring its inaugural tournament to the ice in July 2026 at Canlan Sports York!

— The tournament will feature a maximum of 44 teams in six (6) divisions: 40-49 Competitive (8 teams); 40-49 Recreational (8); 50-59 Competitive (8); 50-59 Recreational (8); 60-64 Open (8); 65+ Open (8)
— 60+ divisions will play on Wednesday July 8th and conclude on Thursday July 9th
— 40+ and 50+ divisions will start their tournament on Thursday July 9th and conclude on Saturday July 11th
— All teams will receive a minimum of four (4) guaranteed games. 40+ and 50+ divisions will also feature a Quarterfinal / Semi-final / Final playoff round structure.
— All teams will receive a team welcome gift, individual player tokens, as well as Championship and Finalist prizing (and of course, the trophy)

Team registrations must be accepted by the tournament organizing committee to confirm a registration.
