A $2000 deposit is required to secure your team’s spot, with multiple participants able to contribute.

WINTER ’23/24 TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participants acknowledge that Season start dates, end dates, game counts, game format, roster limits, required use of personal masks, spectator limitations, and access to on-site amenities are subject to change based at the behest of the Province of Manitoba, and any of its Government health agencies with the authority to issue public health orders, guidelines, and/or restrictions. In the event that the target start date needs to be adjusted, the league will determine if the original allotment of games can still be played, or if the length of the season will need to be adjusted. In the event of a reduction in guaranteed games, the team fees will be adjusted, commensurate with the new number of guaranteed games that will be included in the Winter ’23/24 season. In the event that gameplay is interrupted after the season has started, the league will determine if the length of the season needs to be adjusted in accordance with the length of any potential stoppage. Should the number of guaranteed games need to be reduced, the remaining team fees owed will be adjusted, commensurate with the number of guaranteed games that are able to be offered. In the event that gameplay is interrupted and unable to resume, teams will receive a credit towards a future ASHL season, commensurate with the monies paid in relation to the number of games played at the time of the league stoppage. Participants acknowledge that participation in the league is subject to the governance under the most recent version of the ASHL Rule Book. In the event of unsporting behaviour, abuse of staff and/or officials, damage to physical or intellectual property, or a failure to pay league fees as per the league’s prescribed payment schedule, participants may be withdrawn from participation in the league at the sole discretion of league management without credit or refund. In the event that a participant is removed from the league, any applicable appeal processes shall be communicated to the participant’s stipulated team representative. FREE TEAM ENTRY CONTEST: All registered ASHL teams that register with a minimum $2,000 deposit by July 31st shall receive one (1) ballot in a grand prize contest draw not to be completed before September 30th. Registered ASHL teams are eligible to receive an additional two (2) entries into the grand prize contest draw provided that their league entry fees have been paid-in-full prior to the completion of their first ASHL game of the Winter ’23/24 season. Two (2) grand prizes shall be awarded at the Canlan Sports Winnipeg location, with the winning teams receiving a free team entry for the Winter ’23/24 season, valued at a minimum of $8,795 CAD, commensurate with the team fee associated with the division that the winning team chose to register in.  Grand prizes are not transferable or assignable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or otherwise. At the discretion of the grand prize winning team, any monies paid towards entry fees shall be refunded or credited Canlan Sports and the ASHL will not be responsible, however, if labour disputes, any national emergency, war, civil commotion, acts of terrorism, acts of government or any agency thereof or other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control prevent a grand prize or any part of a grand prize from being fulfilled.
